 Chelsea prepare third offer for Fofana    Chelsea are preparing a third offer for Wesley Fofana, although they have other key defensive targets they will consider should that approach fail.

   Chelsea have already seen two offers rejected for the 21-year-old and Sky Sports News said neither comes close to the Leicester City player's rating.     Leicester don't want to sell Fofana and are hoping to keep the man who signed a five-year contract extension in March.  

   Chelsea are likely to test that resolve later this week.     Despite the signing of Kalidou Koulibaly from Napoli, another central defender remains a priority for Thomas Tuchel following the departures of Antonio Rudiger and Andreas Christensen.Attempts by Manchester City's Nathan Ake and Sevilla's Jules Kounde have so far failed.  

   Leicester's reluctance to sell Fofana will only increase (as will the sale price) as the window progresses as there is less time to reinvest that money into a defensive replacement.
